No Fairy Gardeners Here

They’re called fairy rings. These circles of eelgrass growing on the ocean floor near an island in Denmark look as if they could have been planted.

But with no gardeners in sight, the job had been attributed to fairies and aliens. Until now. It looks like scientists have figured out their mysterious origins.
